2010
Cancún Live Weddings begins
Our founders started Cancún Live Weddings in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, livestreaming weddings so that distant family and friends could watch the ceremony live.
2010–2011
More than 300 weddings in the first year
In its first year, the company streamed more than 300 weddings — an early, formative chapter in wedding livestreaming, built one ceremony at a time.
Acquisition
The business is acquired
Cancún Live Weddings was subsequently acquired through a buyout. Our founders stepped away from wedding livestreaming for a number of years.
16 years later
WatchOurWedding.live launches
Sixteen years later, the founders are returning to wedding livestreaming with WatchOurWedding.live — now part of Castelein AV, with operational bases in Mexico City, Querétaro, and San Miguel de Allende.
A second chapter, now with Castelein AV
WatchOurWedding.live is part of Castelein AV, which brings the technical experience and resources behind today's production — stable connectivity planning, professional audio, and reliable backup systems. Our operational bases are Mexico City, Querétaro, and San Miguel de Allende, and we provide services throughout Mexico and internationally.
What hasn't changed is the reason we do this work: so that the people who love you, wherever they are, can still be part of your wedding day.
